What does WMC do?
WMC is an international group specialising in the development, management and environmental protection of water resources. The company was founded over 17 years ago in Shrewsbury, UK, and has since grown into a worldwide operation. In October 2007, we joined forces with Schlumberger Water Services, SWS. We provide technical services in a wide range of disciplines, including hydrogeology, hydrology, geochemistry, geology, geophysics, numerical modelling, environmental science, water resources planning, water engineering, GIS and database management. As part of SWS we will also have access to a number of technologies initially developed for the oilfield but which are relevant to the water and mining sectors.
