Senior Groundwater Modeler– Tucson or Denver (updated Feb 01, 2009)

Based in Tucson or Denver, you will be working with experienced professionals in multidisciplinary teams that will include team members located in other WMC-SWS offices.  You will be involved in a range of water resources, mining and environmental projects worldwide.  You should have the flexibility and desire to undertake occasional international travel and assignments.

Requirements:

  • First degree in Earth Sciences or related subject, Masters preferred
  • Minimum 3 years experience with a variety of modelling packages
  • Effective written and oral communications skills, ability to produce technical reports for clients.
Senior Hydrogeologist/Project Manager - Denver, Reno or Tucson, (updated Feb 01, 2009)

Based in Denver , Reno or Tucson, you will be working with experienced professionals in multidisciplinary teams that often include team members located in other WMC-SWS offices.  You will be involved in a range of water resources, mining and environmental projects.  Occasional international travel will be part of this role.

Requirements:

  • Masters preferred
  • At least 7 years experience of successfully managing projects and working with State and Federal regulations
  • Broad experience in hydrogeology and hydrochemistry related to mining, environmental and groundwater resource investigations, including permitting projects of high complexity. 
Staff and Project Hydrogeologists - Denver and Tucson, (updated Feb 01, 2009)

Based in Denver or Tucson, you will be working with experienced professionals in multidisciplinary teams that often include team members located in other WMC-SWS offices.  You will be involved in a range of water resources, mining and environmental projects.  Occasional international travel will be part of this role.

Requirements:

  • Masters preferred in hydrogeology or closely related discipline
  • At least 4 years relevant experience
  • Strong ability in numerical and analytical hydrogeology
  • Willingness to participate in field programs
Senior Environmental Geochemist - Denver, Reno or Tucson (updated Feb 01, 2009)

Based in Denver, Reno or Tucson, you will be working with experienced professionals in multidisciplinary teams that often include team members located in other WMC-SWS offices.  You will be involved in a range of water resources, mining and environmental projects.  Occasional international travel will be required.

Requirements:

  • First degree in Earth Science or related subject with Masters in Geochemistry
  • At least 3 years' relevant technical experience
  • Project management experience
  • Broad knowledge of surface and groundwater flow
  • Inorganic chemistry, ARD and mine closure experience
Senior Water Resources Engineer - Denver, Reno or Tucson (updated Feb 01, 2009)

Based in Denver, Reno or Tucson, you will be working with experienced professionals in multidisciplinary teams that often include team members located in other WMC-SWS offices.  You will be involved in a range of water resources, mining and environmental projects in the US and overseas..  Occasional international travel will be required.

Requirements:

  • First degree in Water Resources Engineering or related subject with Masters preferred
  • At least 10 years experience in hydrology and hydraulic analysis, hydraulic structures, engineering design, storm drainage design and water quality
  • Strong business development track record
Civil Engineer - Denver, Reno or Tucson (updated Feb 01, 2009)

Based in Denver, Reno or Tucson, you will be working with experienced professionals in multidisciplinary teams that often include team members located in other WMC-SWS offices.  You will be involved in a range of water resources, mining and environmental projects in the US and overseas..  Occasional international travel will be required.

Requirements:

  • Good first degree with Masters in Civil Engineering preferre
  • Broad knowledge of water-related issues of mining in particular large scale dewatering
